The COVID-19  pandemic has forever changed the way businesses operate. Remote working is now a legal option and common practice as employees in the UAE quickly transitioned to working from home within a short period. As the UAE moves towards a phased gradual return to the work, key factors need to be considered to ensure performance and business targets and objectives are achieved.

Agni Skafidas
Agni Skafidas has spent over 20 years in general and specialised HR roles in the Middle East and around the world. Her wealth of knowledge in HR, project management and coaching have driven her success and commercial understanding. She had the opportunity to lead HR teams in operational and strategic roles and served as Director, Total Rewards before joining OLAM as Managing Director. Thenji Moyo
Thenji Moyo is a UK trained and qualified specialist Employment Legal Director advising on all UAE and DIFC employment law. Thenji is ranked in Chambers and Partners and as “Associate to Watch”.

Thenji has extensive experience working in employment law advising blue chip, multinational, regional, local and private clients from all industry sectors. She advises on complex employment issues, which include global mobility of employees, cross-jurisdictional matters including temporary assignment, secondment, cross border engagement.

She has particular expertise in advising on all HR issues including recruitment, termination, employment disputes, corporate reorganisation, mergers and acquisitions, terms and conditions, company policies and procedures.

Thenji works closely with the employment local litigation counsel to file employment claims at the Dubai Courts via the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and she is a legal practitioner registered with the DIFC Courts.
